The Overdetermined Election: a Live Podcast Recording
The 2020 U.S. presidential election is often called “the most important” of our lifetime. It may also be the most overdetermined. Join us Thursday, October 29th, for a live recording of the Podcast for Social Research, as BISR faculty Asma Abbas, Nara Roberta Silva, Ajay Singh Chaudhary, and Alyssa Battistoni place the presidential election in historical, global, political economic, and ecological context. What forces, trends, and contradictions have brought us to our present moment? Are we at a crossroads? Will the crisis persist regardless of the outcome? Where do we go from here?
The Overdetermined Election will broadcast live, at 7:30pm EST, on the BISR Facebook page. For updates and reminders, please RSVP below.
