You Had To Be There: a Members Cocktail Party

In these dark times, seasonal and political, we could all use a bit of levity and laughter. Join us Tuesday, January 21st, at 7pm at BISR Central for the first themed Members Cocktail Party of 2025: You Had To Be There. BISR faculty (and psychoanalysts) Loren Dent, Danielle Drori, and Paige Sweet will treat us to bad jokes—and good Freudian interpretations of them—over martinis served, as jokes come, dirty or dry!

Members Cocktail Parties take place biannually and are open to BISR members of every level, from Iron to Philosopher; if you aren’t already, become a member today—then RSVP below for a mid-winter evening of rabbis, priests, and horses all walking improbably into bars…

In addition to the classic martini—gin or vodka, stirred not shaken—beer, wine, seltzer, and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
