Abdaljawad Omar

Abdaljawad Omar is a writer and an Adjunct Professor at Birzeit University, where he teaches in the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies. He earned his PhD in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from Birzeit University. His work engages with a range of fields, including political theory, decolonial thought, cultural criticism, and the intellectual history of Palestine. He regularly contributes essays and articles to various publications, including Mondoweiss, offering critical reflections on colonialism, resistance, and contemporary Palestinian life.
