David Sugarman

David Sugarman teaches courses about American literature and intellectual history since 1945. He is especially interested in how postwar literature, philosophy, and political theory reflect the changes taking place in American cities during this period. David received his PhD from New York University’s Department of English in 2019, and is now a professor and adviser at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
