Hannah Gadbois

Hannah Gadbois is a PhD candidate in Art History at the University of Illinois, Chicago; she holds an MA from Boston University. Her dissertation focuses on Soviet photomontage artists and their depictions of temporality in the early years of the Soviet Union. More broadly, her research follows ideas of progress, industrialization, labor time, and the relationship between visual abstraction and politics.
