Zach Fruit

Zach Fruit is a PhD candidate in English at the University of Pennsylvania. He has an MA from Hunter College in British and American Literature. His current research is focused on nineteenth-century British realism and landscape aesthetics. More broadly, his academic interests include critical and postcolonial theory, environmental humanities, the history of photography, and the theory of the novel. His writing has been published in Victorian Literature and CultureTextual Practice, and Public Books.
