William Harris

Associate Faculty

William Harris is a doctoral student in English literature at the University of Chicago, where he is at work on a cultural history of the postwar Midwest. He holds an MFA in creative nonfiction writing from the University of Minnesota, and was previously a Core Fellow in critical studies at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. He has written broadly on culture and politics for n+1, New Left Review, Jacobin, The Point, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and many other venues. He lives in Chicago, where he organizes with the Chicago Union of Tenants.
